Music Program

Our rich music ministry welcomes choristers and musicians of all ages – from 5 to 75.

The Children’s and Youth choir, directed by Dana Biskys and Danguole Radtke, celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2020. Choir members from age 5 to 17 rehearse on Sundays after 11AM Mass. The choir sings at Mass and performs at various parish events. New members are always welcome.

The “Kankles” group, led by Zibute Janeliunas, Aleksandra Valaitis, and helper Aleksa Groen Int Woud, incorporates traditional Lithuanian folk music into the Sunday liturgy. These young enthusiasts often accompany the Children’s and Youth Choir at Mass, and also perform at various events. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings.

The “occasional choir” sings at 11AM Mass once a month after a 10AM rehearsal on the same day. Love singing, but don‘t have time for weekly rehearsals? Add your voice to this group! Contact the parish office for scheduling.

The “Volunge” choir has made its home at Resurrection Parish for more than 40 years. Both “Volunge” and its women’s ensemble often enrich parish life through participation in special liturgies and other celebrations.
