Aušra Basketball Club

Aušra Sports Club was formed in 1955 as the sporting arm of Resurrection Parish. The club was organized to provide a quality sport activity experience for children and adults of Lithuanian descent. Athletes who have learned and played with Aušra have gone on to university and college basketball and several have gone to play professionally in the NBA or in Europe.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Aušra competes in local house leagues and in international basketball tournaments hosted by similar organizations in the US and Europe.  The club has also organized training camps in hockey, volleyball and other sports based on demand. New members are always welcome to join the club, kids ages 8 to 17, men and "veterans" too.
